Because reading should always rhyme with fun

Since reading should always rhyme with fun, I have created special editions of All the Marvellous Things: Poems for all in a dyslexic-friendly font, featuring increased spacing between letters, words, and lines to make it as easy as possible to read. Additionally, I have prepared for you a version in large font of As if I couldn’t! : Collection of poems for small and grown-up children to make it more accessible and enjoyable for early readers or for the tired eyes of older grown-ups.

Must read 🏆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Some books feel like a warm breeze on a slow afternoon, they take you back to a time when life was simple, when small things felt big and big things felt possible.
As If I Couldn’t! is one of those books…”

“If you are looking for a book that brings comfort and joy, if you want something to share with a child or just something to lift your spirits, this is a perfect choice. It is light but meaningful, fun but thoughtful, simple but unforgettable. It is the kind of book you keep coming back to just to feel that little spark of childhood again.”

“A fun, heartfelt poetry collection that sparks joy, nostalgia, and a little wisdom—perfect for kids and the kid at heart…”

“The poems are light and airy, but they contain small but powerful lessons on self-confidence, curiosity, and learning to find beauty in the little things in life.”

“The words leap off the page, causing you to smile, laugh, and even pause to reflect. It’s the kind of book that reminds you why poetry exists. Not to be complicated or alienating, but to bring people together, to inspire, and to distill emotion in its purest, most sincere form.”

Must read 🏆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“As if I Couldn’t! A Collection of Poems for Small and Grown-Up Children” by Bohumila Ottova is a remarkable poetry book for all ages. I simply adore poetry like this. Each wonderful work takes the reader on a marvellous journey, opening the doors of the imagination as we discover the true beauty of the impossible. Gently breaking through the barriers of normality, these magical poems seamlessly switch from humorous to deeply touching in this whirlwind trip across the universe. My top three favorites are “As You Do”, which reminds me of my favorite superhero, “When You Smile”, which makes me think of someone I deeply love, and “As if I Couldn’t”, which is absolutely ME spelled out across the page. […] this delightful poetry book reminds each of us that the magic of those simple childhood days still glows within our hearts, even if we’ve forgotten about it for a little while…”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A real pleasure to read.

“I really enjoyed these poems. They are quirky, funny, cute, and fun to read. A very creative little book, I can’t wait to discover more poems by this author.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beatrix Potter – double act

“I just read this delightful poem collection by Bohumila Ottova and accompanying illustrations by Katarina Bikard…. WOW.. how uplifting, how delightful and how utterly delicious! I savoured every word, every line, every illustration and every character…”

“…All these delightful characters are leaping out of the pages like Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle Duck. Let the ink blobs evolve to colour, and we have the double-act Beatrix Potter!

Your poems made me laugh out loud, like the one about not eating French beans because of not wanting to eat greens that only speaks French or the poem about getting dressed elegantly but forgetting to put on the pants!

The collection is oozing with positive vibes, imagination and humour.  What a treat it was to read this collection and THANK YOU for laughs and igniting the child in me. You describe yourself as a false grown up. From the poems, I can see that you are a true kid. Congratulations!”
